L.A. truly was a gentle soul. I am very sorry to hear this news. One of my earliest memories is riding backseat in his VW Beetle - in the dark - such an adventure in 1964 with best pals Jana and David. Peace to Alathia and all the family. You have been lifelong friends.

Coach Noles was my football coach at Petersburg in the late 60's and early 70's. What a great time it was to be a boy wanting to become a man and have him as your coach and mentor. His influence has always been a part of my life. God Bless his family and my condolences on the loss of a great man.
