Lanny Wayne Hargrove

Lanny Wayne Hargrove, 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at his home in Levelland, Texas. A Memorial Service to honor Lanny will be held at 10 AM on Monday, June 1, 2015, at Cactus Drive Church of Christ in Levelland. Lanny was born on June 24, 1949 in Memphis, Texas. Lanny grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated from Hobbs High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1975. Lanny married Juanita on May 14, 1985. He loved riding his motorcycle, was a Mason at the Levelland Lodge, and loved Nascar and NHRA. Lanny was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Hargrove, He is survived by his wife, Juanita Hargrove of Levelland; daughters, Shannon Morris and Randy Houck of Amarillo, Jana Garnett and husband Doug of Denver City, and Jeannie Stinson and husband Mike of Edmonson, Texas; sons, Shane Hargrove and wife Lori of Fairmont, Minnesota, and Jimmy Hartley and wife Janice of St. Peters, Missouri; mother, Martha Hargrove of Hobbs, NM; brothers, Johnny Hargrove of Burleson, Texas and Craig Hargrove and wife Kristie of Carrollton, Texas; one niece; one nephew, and together, Lanny and Juanita have 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
