Lee Hugh Savage

Lee Hugh Savage, 98, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Levelland, passed away on December 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 11:00 am in the George Price Funeral Home Chapel. A family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Hugh was born December 27, 1916 in Hollis, Oklahoma to parents Lee and Effie Savage. He graduated from Arnett High School in 1936. Hugh married Margaret Wever on January 29, 1938. He farmed in west Texas for many years, and was also a sales representative. Later in life he and Margaret enjoyed traveling around the United States. Hugh was an avid Lady Raiders Fan during the Marsha Sharp years. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Eddie James Savage. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Brenda Miller and husband Cary of Kingsland, Texas; sister, Margarete Miller Sisk of Lubbock, sister-in-law, Mary Savage of Lubbock; grandchildren, Johnny, David, Patricia, Clay and Monia; many loving great and great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Hugh's name be made to Lubbock Children's Home, P.O. Box 2824, Lubbock, Texas 79408.
