Lorene Shug Berry Thompson

Services will be at George Price Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. and burial will follow at City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland, TX.

She was born in Ballinger TX. On February 2, 1924, the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Cooper) Berry. She married John Thompson on February 6, 1943 in Midland, TX. She was active in the Senior Citizens, Loved painting and watching sports on TV. She loved any kind of games.

Survivors include two sons: Les Thompson and wife, Donna of College Station, TX., Don Thompson and wife, Vickie of Yukon, OK., one daughter: Carolyn Reno of Rowlett, TX., two sisters: her twin, Rene Flatt of Lubbock, TX. And Lavoy Jones and husband, Loman of Levelland, TX., six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, John, two brothers: Elvin and Melvin Berry, one sister: Naomi Martin.
