Marion R. Gibbs, formerly of San Angelo, TX, passed away on January 1, 2018 at Brookdale Round Rock Assisted Living in Austin, TX, at the age of 91. He was born on December 11, 1926 in Burkburnett, TX to parents, Newton M. and Nora A. Gibbs. Marion was always a joy to visit with on first saturdays at the chicken farm. He could always create what I needed to display my artwork. His love of Mama was an inspiration. We shared many stories of our love of God and I will miss him. Deepest sympathy to his family. Till we meet again dear friend.

I looked forward to Marion's visits each first Saturday at the chicken farm. I enjoyed seeing his new wooden creations in his photo album followed by stories of hiding chocolates for mama, the love of his life, in her dresser drawer. A sweet beautiful man. My deepest sympathies to his family.

He was my Sunday School teacher when I was a young teen. I still remember him as a great man of God who impacted my young life. My children have my stories of his impact on me. I treasure them.
