Funeral services for Mary C. Vasquez, 72, of Levelland, Texas were held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland, Texas Pastor Gil Ramirez, officiating. She died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas.

Born on April 7, 1941 in Falls City, Texas to Federico and Pauline (Garza) Cardenas.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Juan A. Vasquez; her daughters, Sylvia Vasquez and Sandra Vasquez of Levelland, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Timothy D. Lynch of Keller, Texas; grandsons, Nicholas Lynch of Keller, Texas and Andrew Lynch of Kansas City, MO ; brothers: Fred Cardenas Jr. of Fort Worth, Tx, Jimmy Cardenas of Wolfforth, Tx, Joe Cardenas of Plainview, Tx, Roger and Angie Cardenas of Lubbock, Tx and Bobby and Raquel Cardenas of Lubbock, Tx; Sisters, Sylvia Cardenas of Sundown,Tx, Rosa Sainz of Levelland, Tx and Lupe and Noah Gaitan of Levelland, Tx. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
