

She was born October 14, 1921, in Rochester, TX to Charlie and Maude Mae Lamb. She was married to H.L. Robertson on December 4th 1941.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay (Butch) Butler of Hot Springs Village, AR; one sister, Ottie Marie Black of Odessa, TX; one grandson, Mac Butler of Las Vegas, NV; two great-grandchildren, Stevi and Nikkolus Chancey of Carlsbad, NM; one great-great-granddaughter, Amiah Grace Valdez of Carlsbad, NM; one sister in-law, Geraldine (John) Lamb of Kermit, TX; and many special and loving nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Maude Mae Lamb; her husband, H.L. Robertson; her daughter, Sue Chancey; her grandson, Kensey Chancey; two brothers, William Henry “John” Lamb and C.B. Lamb; and two sisters, Ellavesta Maxine York and Dollie Stewart.
Maude Evelyn was an avid and vocal Dallas Cowboys’ fan and enjoyed playing cards from sunup to sundown, dancing to country western music, playing the slots in Las Vegas whenever she got the chance, and visiting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her devoted niece Toni McDaniel and her sister Marie Black. Nanny’s feisty spirit and say-it-as-she-thought-it attitude will be sorely missed by her large and loving family.
Visitation will be held 6-8pm Oct 31st at George Price Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm November 1st at 5th street Baptist Church Levelland, TX under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas.
