

Funeral services for Ola Mae Eberhart, 85, of Wolfforth and formerly of Sundown, will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Sundown, with Rev. Randy Winfrey, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sundown Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Ola Mae was born on August 7, 1928 in Cochran County, Texas but spent all of her life in Hockley County in the Sundown area. She married Walter Eberhart on June 5, 1948 in Levelland and he preceded her in death in December of 2008. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Sundown. She sewed for the public during the time when her children were growing up. She and her husband owned and operated Eberhart Nursery in Sundown for a number of years. She was a member of the Sundown Garden Club. They then sold their home and traveled for a few years. They were members of the Good Sam Club and the Senior Golfers. Ola Mae had made four hole-in-ones during her golfing career. She moved to Wolfforth in 2010.
Survivors include her son: Eddie Eberhart of Bedford, Texas; and three daughters: Luella Douglas of Lubbock, Texas, Linda Hogue, Sundown, Texas; and Gayle Crask of West Plains, Missouri; and her sister: Fae Eberhart of Lawton, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
