Patsy Ruthell Marlar Dunlap

Funeral services for Patsy Marlar Dunlap, 72, of Levelland will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in George Price Funeral Chapel, Levelland, Texas with Rev. Jay Macha, Levelland, Texas officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. She died Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas.

Patsy was born on June 20, 1939 in Amite, Louisiana to Paul and Francis Neal Marlar. She graduated from Amite High School. Patsy married Bobby Dunlap on November 1, 1955 in Amite, Louisiana. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son: Rickey Dunlap in 2006.

Patsy Dunlap has just entered her new life-after death; May she find peace and happiness. Patsy was an exceptionally spiritual soul. She was a natural philosopher. She was an optimistic, positive person. She had style and elegance in her home, her music and the way she carried herself, a zest for life and she loved her family. She was a great role model.

We will miss her dearly.

Survivors include her husband: Bobby Dunlap of Levelland, Texas; her daughter: Tammy Craddock and her husband: Clifton Craddock of Weatherford, Texas; her sister: Bobbie DeBunce of Honolulu, Hawaii and her brother: Paul Gary Marlar of Bolder,Colorado; three grandchildren: Melissa, Amanda and Shane and four great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
