Roy Edward "Rip" Kauffman

Roy Edward “Rip” Kauffman, 66, of Levelland passed away April 8, 2016 in Lubbock. Memorial services for Rip will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the George Price Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Rip was born September 9, 1949 in Levelland to parents, Roy Daniel and Ethel Mae (Tucker) Kauffman. He married Susan Townsend on June 8, 1973 at First Baptist Church in Levelland. Rip served our country in the United States Air Force from 1969-1971. He was a consultant in the oil field industry for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rip is survived by his wife, Susan Kauffman of Levelland; son, Donovan and wife Kathy Kauffman of Lubbock; daughter, Amanda and husband Lyndon Couch of Levelland; sisters, Linda Kay Lopez and Donna Bonneau of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Madison and Jayden Kauffman of Lubbock, and Cason and Reegan Couch of Levelland. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorials in Rip’s memory to the Wounded Warriors or Levelland Animal Friends..
