Shirley Irene Vaughan

Shirley Irene Vaughan, 66, of Levelland passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. A family visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 pm at George Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Shirley was born March 2, 1950 in Littlefield to Maynard and Viola (Demel) Miller, who precede her in death. She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Shirley also enjoyed sewing, doll collecting and flowers. She is survived by her sons, Chris Vaughan and wife Lauren of Levelland, and Mike Vaughan and wife Jayma of Georgetown; grandchildren, Ryker Vaughan, Leilani Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, and Danica Sanchez all of Levelland, and Andy Vaughan and Brody Vaughan of Georgetown; sisters, Loretta Bryant of Levelland and Cindi Carey and husband John of Lubbock; and brothers, Ken Miller of Levelland and Danny Miller and wife Janis of Ft. Collins, Colorado. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests donations in her memory to the American Red Cross, American Lung Association, or to a favorite charity of your choice.
