Wilbert Alois Rohmfeld

Wilbert Alois Rohmfeld, 94, of Levelland, formerly of Pep, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Lubbock. Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Phillip Catholic Church in Pep with burial following in the St. Phillip Cemetery. Wilbert was born December 1, 1921 in Olfen, Texas to parents Ferdinand Joseph and Helena Regina (Hoelscher) Rohmfeld. He was a retired farmer and member of St. Phillip Catholic Church in Pep. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Diane Louise Rohmfeld, son David Raymond Rohmfeld, sisters Lucille Buxkemper, Viola Wilde, Evangeline Sturm, Ora Mae Latzel, Jeanette Schwartz, and brother Sylvester Rohmfeld. Wilbert is survived by his wife, Zita Rohmfeld of Levelland; sons, Mike Rohmfeld and wife Denese of Lubbock, Bob Rohmfeld of Pep, and Tom Rohmfeld and wife Teri of Morton; daughter, Sandra Barnett and husband Scott of Levelland; grand-children, Stephanie Dunkle, David Rohmfeld, Christy Lewis, Bre’Ann Smith, Clayton Barnett, Tyson Mankin and Cory Mankin; great grandchildren, Amanda Dunkle, Austin Dunkle, Ian Rohmfeld and Emma Rohmfeld; siblings Raymond Rohmfeld of Ballinger, Dennis Rohmfeld of Ballinger, Ferdinand Rohmfeld of San Antonio and Anna Marie Schwartz of St. Lawrence.
