

Adele Doris Patterson (née Tokarska), aged 93, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Born in Elkins Park, she grew up in a devout Roman Catholic family in Port Richmond, Philadelphia, daughter to Bertha and Marion " Turk" Tokarska.
Adele attended St. Adalbert Elementary School followed by Little Flower High School, graduating in 1948. Her early career saw her briefly working at Bell Telephone, but she devoted the majority of her life to being a homemaker, a role she cherished deeply.
In June 1950, Adele married Robert Thomas Parker, with whom she shared 22 years until his passing in 1972. She found love again and married Joseph Patterson in 1981, a union that lasted until his death in 2001.
A pillar of her community, Adele volunteered at the local polling station and contributed many years of service to the administrative office at St. Albert the Great Elementary School. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident in her dedication to these roles.
She is survived by her daughters, Doris Horne, Linda McGovern, and Patricia Pentony. Adele was preceded in death by her daughters Karen Parker and Lisa Allmond. Her legacy also includes 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who will remember her fondly for her warmth and enduring spirit.
Adele Patterson will be remembered as a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose life was a testament to her strong faith and commitment to her family and community.
A Mass of Christian burial for Adele will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 10:50 AM at Queen of the Universe, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, burial at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery to follow, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
