Albert M. Ritter

Albert Max Ritter, 87, passed away Friday, September 17th, 2021. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Joan (Grubb) Ritter since September 10th, 1955, and father to Albert Ritter (Deborah), Elizabeth Davis (Kenneth), Linda Fields (John) and Laurie Bryner (Robert), who were all by his side.Albert was a graduate of Drexel University, earning degrees in Mechanical Engineering Business Administration in the evenings, while raising his family and working as a Data Processing Manager at Thiokol Chemical, Green Tree Insurance, and Cigna. He was a member of the Key Club Service Fraternity, and Vice President of the Class of 1965.Throughout his life, Al volunteered his service to his church and community, gathering many friends along the way. He has served as Cub Master for Pack 82, Coach and President for the Penndel Wildcats Athletic Association, Usher and Choir member at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was active in several leadership roles at the Pennsylvania Delaware Valley Woodcarvers Association, Penndel Bowling Leagues, and Bristol Township Senior Center.He was a gifted singer and master woodcarver.Albert's proudest accomplishment was as patriarch of a close knit and expanding family. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Albert Ritter (Melissa), Michael Ritter (Theresa), Deborah Glasson (Joseph), Brian Valentine (Tracy), Maria Le Blanc (Sean), John Fields (Jessica), Joseph Fields (Alison), Edward Bryner (Rebecca), Sarah Miller (Stefan), and Lauren Vile (Zackery). He currently has 15 great-grandchildren who call him GG-Pop. He is also survived by his sister, Naomi Cressman and a large circle of family and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
