

Albert J. Tazik Albert J. Tazik died on Sunday, November 7, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Levittown. He was 82. Mr. Tazik was born in Clifton, NJ, raised in Bristol and has been a Levittown resident for 57 years. He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish. He had been employed as a metal worker with Kaiser Metal, Bristol and Heckett, Fairless Hills and was a manager for Major Oil Co. for 31 years until his retirement in 1994. After retiring, Mr. Tazik worked part time for 15 years at Giant Supermarket, Fairless Hills. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1945 and later discharged from the Army Ready Reserve in 1953. He served as a radio operator. He was a member of American Legion Post 960, Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215, the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1169 and the Golden Marks. Beloved husband of Ann A. (Petrizzi), they recently celebrated their 60th Anniversary. Mr. Tazik is the devoted father of David (Pamela) of Clinton, MS, Mark (Dean Kephart) of Minneapolis, MN, Richard of New York, NY and Renee Tazik Ramos (Eduardo) of Doylestown; the loving grandfather of Nicholas and Shawna Tazik and Roberto and Isabella Ramos and the brother of Matilda Budz, of San Diego, CA and Albina Carnivale of Bristol. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Tazik, his brother, Wendel Tazik and his sister, Eleanor Katocs. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 8:15 until 9:15 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
