Born in Liverpool, England, he was a resident of Levittown for 68 years. He worked for 3M in Bristol for many years until retiring.
Mr. Dalglish loved reading, movies, and watching the New York Giants. He also enjoyed travels with his wife, including trips to Hawaii and Italy, and going out to dinner with friends. He will be remembered as a quiet gentleman who was proud of his English heritage.
Alexander was devoted to his wife and family and made coffee for his wife every morning. They called each other “Hon.” He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Jeanette (Matrullo) whom he met on a blind date; his loving children, Alexander Richard Dalglish (Julie) and Barbara Dalglish; his grandchild, Laura Stapf (Kevin); and great-grandchild Brayden.
He will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a private service for the family.
