

Alfred V. Morschauser Alfred V. Morschauser died surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Sunrise at Lower Makefield, Yardley. He was 86. Born in Yonkers, NY, the son of the late Walter and Stella (Borovsky) Morschauser, Al has been a resident of Falls Township for 38 years. Al was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish where he served as an Usher for many years and was also a member of the former Cabrini Mixers Bowling League. He served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Gage in the Pacific Theater. He was a manager with the Ethyl Corporation in Princeton, NJ for 45 years, retiring in 1991. After retiring, Al began a new career as a crossing guard for the Pennsbury School District, where he was a former president of the Band Boosters. He was also a member of the VFW in Yonkers and was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215. Beloved husband of 64 years to Grace M. (Baldassare), Al is the loving father of Richard (Helen) of Southport, NC, Robin Sena (Charles) of Greenwich, CT, Regina Kristan (John) of Mahopac, NY, Col. Robert (Marlene) of Carlisle, PA and Ronald (Marla) of Yardley. He is the devoted grandfather of ten grandchildren, Karen, Christine, Andrew, Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Paige, Conner, Grace and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 11:00 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church. Rite of Committal will be held privately in Saint Mary Cemetery, Yonkers, NY.
