Born on October 3, 1991, in Bristol, PA, to Gregory and Jane Runey Knox, Andrew took immense pride in his Philadelphia roots, often regaling others with tales from his adventures in the city.
In mid-2021, Andrew relocated to Virginia Beach, where he met the love of his life, Colby Kestler. Their union blessed them with a beautiful son, Jackson, in March 2023, an experience that filled Andrew with boundless pride and excitement in his newfound role as a father.
Andrew reveled in life's simplest joys, his radiant spirit illuminated by an infectious laugh, a treasure trove of jokes, graceful yoga handstands, an innate creativity, a captivating smile, and a gentle soul. An enthusiastic traveler, he eagerly anticipated the prospect of returning northward to embark on the next chapter of his life alongside his beloved family.
He leaves behind a bereaved but loving circle: his girlfriend, Colby Kestler; their son, Jackson Knox; his mother, Jane Runey Knox; his brother, Michael Knox, and sister-in-law, Jessica Knox; his brother, Gregory Knox, and sister-in-law, Christina Knox; his grandparents Joseph and Anna Capizzi; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends.
Andrew is reunited in the afterlife with his father, Gregory Knox.
Andrew's remarkable talents and wisdom transcended his years, as his songs wove tales of both pain and beauty in this world, leaving an indelible mark of joy and gratitude for life's journey. May the beauty he shared with us continue to inspire and uplift our lives.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will take place Saturday morning, September 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home in Levittown, PA.
