Andrew “Andy” J. Weaver, age 52, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Philadelphia, PA. A longtime resident of Levittown, PA, he was born in Bristol, PA to parents Karen Stone and Dennis Weaver. Andy was a 1991 graduate of Pennsbury High School and spent his career as a dedicated extruder operator and truck driver.
Andy was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing and hunting. He also had a deep love for animals and was especially proud of his two dogs, Peso, a cherished chihuahua, and Ernest, a beloved rescue.
Those who knew Andy remember him as always friendly and kind-hearted to everyone he met. He was a man who made people feel welcome, no matter the circumstance.
He is predeceased by his uncle Dennis Walker.
He is survived by his loving parents Karen Stone (Dave) and Dennis Weaver; his siblings Dan (Ellen), Matt (Tara), and Patrick Weaver, Gina Murray (Scott), Becky Stout (Phil); his aunts & uncles: Carol, Sally, Blake Barbara, and Marie and their spouses; many nieces, nephews and cousins; his former spouse Desiree; Pat Daly and his mentor George Ruiz.
Andy’s services will be scheduled at a later date.
In honor of Andy’s lifelong compassion for animals, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the SPCA of Philadelphia.
