Angeline (DeSanto) Romanowski died on Friday April 17, 2026 in Newtown, PA. She lived a full and vibrant life marked by her love of family, reading, socializing, cooking and countless games of bridge and Yahtzee. Angie brought warmth, wit and companionship to all who knew her, cherishing every moment spent with family and friends.
Born in New York, NY, she was a resident of Levittown since 1963 and then a resident of Naples, FL since 1991. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish and a member of both the Middletown and Lower Makefield Senior Centers.
After starting her family, Angie completed her college degree and earned a BS in Education. She taught English at Cecilia Snyder and Robert Shafer Middle Schools until her retirement.
Angie was the beloved and devoted wife of Edmund S. Romanowski for 60 years prior to his death in 2011. She was the loving mother of Edmund R. Romanowski and his wife, Cynthia of Holland, PA; Deborah Glickman and her husband, Lee of Yardley, PA; and Kim Elliott and her husband, Paul of Mesa, AZ. Angie was the devoted grandmother of Derek Romanowski, Krista (Romanowski) Cherry, Thomas, Matthew and Nicholas Gounaris, Andy and Melissa Glickman, and Megan Elliott. She was a loving Granny to her 8 great grandchildren and a special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Angie’s family will receive condolences on Thursday May 7, 2026 from 9:30am – 10:30am until the funeral mass at 10:30am at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Inurnment will be held privately.
Deep appreciation is given to the staff at Pickering Manor and Serenity Hospice whose kindness and presence brought comfort and peace in Angie’s final days. Angie’s journey on Earth has ended, but her memory continues through the lives she touched and the love she shared.
