AnnaMarie P. Malloy, age 46, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, surrounded in love and prayer by her most beloved family. Born and raised in Levittown, PA, Ann graduated from St. Michael the Archangel grade school and Bishop Conwell High School. Ann was truly a woman amongst women. Her abilities to make everyone around her - family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances - feel special, needed and loved were by far her most outstanding traits. A Levittown native, Ann also called Philadelphia, PA and Charlotte, NC "home" during her lifetime. Ann's most recent career as a Collections Manager with Cenlar FSB, Ewing, NJ allowed her talents as a fair and compassionate leader to be fully expressed. As a result of her steadfast 33 year commitment to help to find a cure for ALS, the disease which took her beloved father and older brother, Ann befriended hundreds of people to whom she referred as her "ALS family." Ironically the disease for which she tirelessly advocated was to be the same disease which took her own precious life, much too soon. Many will remember her outstanding work in fundraising for the cure, from being the devoted "Pat's Posse" Captain (honoring the memories of her father and brother), to the annual Walk to Defeat ALS at Citizen's Bank Park, to local efforts to raise awareness and funds at both JoJo's Ice Cream in Fairless Hills, PA with huge basket raffles, and scrumptious bake sales at the Old Croydon Café in Croydon, PA. It was easy for Ann's ever-growing circle of supporters to commit to helping in the fight against ALS, as her personality was magnetic and her dedication was palpable. She was driven and passionate about finding a cure and helping others with ALS. She was brave and strong and was determined to hit ALS "head on". Ann's "heart of gold" was honest and true, and if you knew her, you loved her immediately. She enjoyed spending holidays with family, getaways when possible to the beach, movies, picnics, etc. Her family was her life, and she showed it everyday. Ann's unwavering passion as a true Philadelphia Eagles fan was undeniable. Her dream of a Superbowl victory was achieved in the "Nick" of time. Left behind to mourn her passing are her beloved mother and stepfather, Kathleen Malloy-Trapenasso and Joseph Trapenasso of Levittown; cherished son, Joshua Alger and fiancé Amanda Moreadith; brother John (Judy) Malloy of Levittown, their son Spencer Malloy and fiancé Ali Pump; brother Timothy (Jody) Malloy of Yardley, their daughters Rachel, Rebecca and Bridget; brother Charles Malloy of Glen Allen, VA; beloved sister Kathleen Malloy of Newtown, PA; several beloved cousins and their families, and an army of treasured friends, all of whom will miss her precious smile, wonderful sense of humor, and heartfelt hugs. Preceding her in death are her father, Patrick J. Malloy, Jr. of Levittown and eldest brother Patrick J. Malloy, III of Hoboken, NJ. Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 until 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parway, Levittown where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her father and brother at Forest Hills Cemetery in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, Ann has requested that donations be made to the Penn Comprehensive Neuroscience Center's ALS Clinic, c/o Leo F. McCluskey, M.D., MBE, 330 South 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, whom she held in the highest regard as her treating physician as well as fellow advocate for ending the insidious disease of ALS. We also wish to thank the amazingly caring and professional staff at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse, who made Ann's final days joyous and peaceful. Her message was "Always Be Kind".
