Anne Diamond

Anne (O'Malley) Diamond passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at home with her loved ones by her side. She was 91 years old. Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she moved to the United States when she was 26 years old where she has resided ever since. She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Anne and her 10 siblings. She is the loving mother of 6 children: Eileen Diamond-Noll (Joe), Anne Koch (Dick), Joe DIamond (Kathy), Nora Haughey (Mike) with whom she lived for the past 25 years, John Diamond (Kim) and Bill Diamond (Barb). Anne was preceded in death by her grandson Jimmy Diamond and is survived by 8 grandchildren: Joey (Kim), Mike (Jen), Chris (AnnMarie), Shawn, Haley, Marie, Jen and Veronica. She is survived by her great grandchildren Emma, Kirsten, Brianna, Leah and Ethan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England and the United States Anne worked for 23 years at St. Mary Medical Center in housekeeping. She loved to travel and return home to visit her family in Ireland. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lived next door. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass on Thursday, 11 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown. In remembrance of Anne, donations in her name may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940. Anne also requests everyone say a prayer for her.
