Anthony P. Fuscellaro, known by many nicknames: Anthony, Dad, Poppy, Pop, Big Tony, Bull Dog, Big Dog or Plump Ump, he was always happy to be a part of the group. After a courageous battle with cancer, Anthony passed away surrounded by his family on November 2nd, 2021.
Born and raised in Bensalem, Anthony raised his family in Fairless Hills and inspired others through service to the community. A selfless servant deeply rooted in faith, Anthony could always be found at Saint Frances Cabrini or Our Lady of Fatima evangelizing and sharing his love for others.
Big Tony, as his coworkers referred to him, worked as an Operating Engineer for the State of New Jersey, a Coach/Examiner at John’s Driving School, and a baseball umpire for over 40 years. A tireless spirit enabled his exceptional work ethic, but his family was certainly his greatest joy.
Anthony was born to Margaret & Gus Fuscellaro and will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Gina, his children Anthony & Adrianne Fuscellaro, Alicia & Eppi Figueroa, and his nine grandchildren. He so deeply loved his nine little cherubs: Julianna, Audrianna, Anthony, Annnalise, Lilianna, Elianna, August (Ace), Epifanio (Cinco), and Lucianna (Lulu).
He is also survived by his sister Marguerite and Austin Brambani, brother Stephen and Megan Fuscellaro, and sister Donna and Alex Shulski. Also fondly remembered by his brothers & sisters-in-law: Joe & Bev Deering, Kassy & Frank Ewing, Tom & Marcy Deering, Theresa & Bill Crugnale and his many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the cousins, coworkers, friends, and neighbors for their love, support, and prayers over the last few months.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 8:00 until 8:45 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
