Barbara A. Ennis

Born in Lambertville, NJ, Barbara was a long time resident of Levittown and Fairless Hills. She was employed as a waitress and bank teller for several years before going to work for the State of New Jersey where she was employed for over 20 years until retiring.

Barbara was a diehard Eagles fan, she loved her cats, Joey and Patches, going to the casino, listening to music, Elvis Presley and the color purple. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, scrabble, soap operas and reading the newspaper. But, most importantly she loved her family, they meant everything to her, and she enjoyed and cherished every moment spent with them.

Everyone who met Barbara loved her and she will be truly missed.Barbara was preceded in death by her children, Barbara Strikey, Sharon Ritchie and Jeffrey Ennis; grandchildren, Kyle Ennis and Darren Waskiewicz; her former husband, Eugene Ennis and her sister, Kathryn Rocco.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Hargraves; son, Eugene Ennis (Donna); 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; her sister, Camilla Zahler (Donald) and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.

In honor of Barbara, her family thought that those attending the memorial might want to wear something that would represent what she loved.
