Barbara H. Mayberry

Born and raised in Philadelphia, where she graduated from Mastbaum High School, Mrs. Mayberry was a resident of Levittown since 1963. She was a homemaker and banquet waitress for Kings Caterers. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Worker Council, 4215.

Mrs. Mayberry in her early years was a seamstress making many of her children's clothes and Halloween costumes. She loved to dance and listen to music. She was a frequent flyer at the Atlantic City Casinos. She was an amazing cook and hosted all holiday dinners. But her main joy in life was spending time with family.

Beloved wife of the late William P., Mrs. Mayberry is the loving mother of Donna Bell (Gary), Kimberly Mraz (Bill) and Barbara Anderson (Asa). She was the devoted grandmother of Nikki, Alexa, Eric, Courtney, Shaina, Cheyanne, Asa IV, Matt and Chris.

She was also the great grandmother to Julian, Ayden and Adrian. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

She was the dear sister of the late Beatrice Vollmar, Emma Rawson and Mary Walters.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 23, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc.. 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
