

Born in Manila, Philippines. Betty received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University in 1971.
In 1976 Betty emigrated from the Philippines to the United States following a few family members. After a brief stint on the West Coast, Betty settled in the Lower Bucks county, Pennsylvania area until her passing.
Betty started working at the Distribution Warehouse of Thrift Drug in Langhorne, PA in 1977. She loyally stayed there through the different name changes (Eckerd and then Rite Aid) until her happy retirement in the year 2000.
Betty was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Queen of the Universe Church in Levittown, PA.
Known for her bold and adventurous spirit, Betty enjoyed traveling abroad throughout her life. Many trips back to the Philippines, cruises with her "Jersey family", and visits to family on the West Coast.
Betty was also known for her infectious laugh and smile. Love and laughter were always present within her family and "Bristol/Lansdale barkada" whenever they were all gathered together.
Betty had a love for food as well. She loved cooking for parties and also enjoying her Filipino favorites. A love for sweets was also known, especially for chocolate and chocolate brownies.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Adriano and Feliza Fontanilla. She was the oldest of 7 children. Also preceded in death were her siblings, twins Eduardo (Carmelita) and Riccardo (Loretta), Cesar (Ruth) and youngest sister Evelyn. She is survived by siblings Victor (Marilyn) and Irene (Armando). She will be remembered as Tita Beth and Lola Beth by her many nieces and nephews (family and friend related) and their children as well.
Family and friends are invited to honor Betty on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at a visitation 9:30am to 10:30am, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. Committal service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Pennsylvania, PA, 19020, US.
