Bernadine C. ScaranoBernadine C. Scarano passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Morrisville.. Born in Nanticoke, PA, Mrs. Scarano was a 1949 graduate of Nanticoke High School. She was a very active member of Saint John the Evangelist Church, Yardley. Mrs. Scarano was a retired Stateworker and member of AFSCME.She is the wife of the late Felix, and the sister of the late Thomas Zukowski, Jr. of Tullytown.Bernadine was the beloved aunt of Carole Cohen of Levittown (the daughter she never had) and Joelle Zukowski Parto (Ben) of Mohrsville, PA.She is also survived by several cousins, grand nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Poor Clares of the Francisan Monastery of Saint Clare, 1271 Langhorne Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19067.
