

She was born and raised in Philadelphia and was an original homeowner in the Pinewood section of Levittown. In 1977 she and her beloved husband Harry moved to the mountains in Saylorsburg, PA where they loved being in the country.
Bernice loved reading and doing needlework, crocheting and crafts. She was a life member of the Western Pocono Lioness Club and the Levittown Fire Co. #1 Ladies Auxiliary.
Bernice was preceded in death by her loving husband Harry (Bud) Cook, Jr.; her parents, Charles and Helen Bauer; her sister, Elverna Ulrich; two brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law and their spouses.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Linda Cook of Langhorne; her son, George Cook (Terri) of Levittown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed and remembered with love by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31st at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park.
