

Bonnie Zanolini, age 69, passed away peacefully in Langhorne, PA, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. Longtime resident of Levittown, PA was born to Clarence John Ford and Joan Ford (nee Kirkham) in Trenton, NJ. Bonnie grew up surrounded by family and the values of kindness and compassion that would guide her throughout her life.
A graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 1974, Bonnie went on to dedicate over 35 years of her career to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, retiring in 2012 from the Human Resources Department. Her dedication and warmth touched countless colleagues and friends along the way.
Bonnie shared a remarkable 50 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Mark Zanolini, and together they built a life centered around family. She was a loving mother to Gary Zanolini (Tracey) and a devoted grandmother to Grant, who brought endless joy to her life and whom he affectionately called her “Grammie.”
Beyond her family, Bonnie’s passions brought vibrancy and adventure to her life. A lifelong Disney enthusiast, she delighted in all things Disney and enjoyed countless trips to Disney World. Her love of nature was evident in the care she showed for the birds and squirrels in her backyard, earning her the affectionate nickname “the squirrel whisperer.” Bonnie treasured trips with her girlfriends, exploring new places together, and cherished weekends at the family cabin in Potter County, PA, where she found peace in the outdoors.
Bonnie was known for her generosity, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need. She had a rare gift for making people feel cared for and valued. Her love and warmth extended beyond her immediate family to friends, neighbors, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her son, Gary and his wife Tracey; her grandson, Grant; her brother, John Ford (Christyne); and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence John Ford and Joan Ford (nee Kirkham).
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056, with the funeral service following at 4:00 pm.
