Bryan A. SeeseBryan A. Seese, lifelong resident of Levittown, PA passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 18, 2018. He was 89.Bryan was born October 25, 1928 to Alfred and Arminda (Olsommer) Seese of Canadensis, PA. He was the beloved and devoted husband to the late Joanne (Stopp) Seese for 67 years.Bryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid gardener, beekeeper and loved traveling with his wife and family. He was a retired and longtime employee of U.S. Steel and served in the United States Air Force. He will always be remembered for his kind smile and helping hand. Some of his best times included many retired years in their home in Canadensis back with his family and friends.Survivors include his daughter Carol Seese Roberts, (David) of Bensalem, PA, his son Bryan M. Seese (Mailee) of Croydon, PA, grandchildren Alexander and Christian, sister Mae Bennett, brothers Newt and Stanley Seese of Canadensis, PA as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, and his beloved granddogs, Skylar and Rusty.He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory Bryan Seese, brothers Jim and Bill Seese.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:30 until 8:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, and on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 5918 Emilie Road, Levittown, PA where his funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 am.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, 11:30 am at Seese Hill Cemetery, Seese Hill Road, Canadensis, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bryan's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
