Buddy C. Dillon

Buddy C. Dillon of Levittown died on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home. He was 80.Born in West Frankfort, IL, Mr. Dillon formerly resided in Maryland and Philadelphia before moving to Levittown 40 years ago.He worked for Ford Motor Company in Edison, NJ for nearly 30 years before retiring in May of 2000 and prior to that worked for Reedman Corp. for 8 years.Mr. Dillon enjoyed athletics and in earlier years he played softball with the Saint Joseph the Worker Fast Pitch League and was on the bowling team at Ford Motor Company.Mr. Dillon is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Elizabeth J. (Groff) Dillon.He is the loving father of Buddy C. Dillon, Jr. (Gabrielle), Susan Centofanti and James R. Dillon and the devoted grandfather of Randy, Amber, Lauren, Hayley and Josephine.He is the brother of Donald Dillon (Nancy), The Rev. Michael Dillon (Julie), Marilyn Dillon and the late William R., Jr. and Robert Dillon.He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
