

Camille Lillian Mueller Camille Lillian Mueller passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Eckstein Hospice facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was 85. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Kensington High School for Girls and held a B.F.A. degree from the University of Penna., Graduate School of Fine Arts. She is an alumna of Trenton Junior College and attended the Moore College of art in Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts on scholarships. Camille has lived in Arizona for almost 35 years. Camille was a portrait artist and sculptor. Many of her works are of notable people and are on display throughout the country. She was also a teacher of art and a lecturer. One of her loves was traveling the world. She saw much of it and focused on the architecture and uniqueness of that country she was in. In general, one could say that Camille loved life and made every day count! She was a very colorful person both in character and dress. One would not forget meeting and knowing Camille. She left quite a legacy. Camille was preceded in death by her parents, Camille Anna Schaffer Callary and Andrew Vincent Serio, her husband, Joseph Mueller and sister, Gloria E. Henderson. She is survived by niece, Gloria Benson, and nephews, Arthur and John Henderson. Also two grandnieces, Ashley and Kerry Leigh and grandnephew, Andrew she leaves behind. At Camille's request, a scholarship will be created in her name benefiting a student from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts each years. A memorial will be held in her honor at a later date.
