Born at home in Boston Run, PA, Carl moved with his family to Bristol Terrace in 1942 and then to his home in Levittown in 1958 where he resided the remainder of his life. Carl was a member of the armed forces where he was involved with guided missile systems. After discharge from the army he completed two years at Pennsylvania State University funded by the GI Bill and then worked and attended night school at Rutgers University and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering in 1972.
He worked for 26 years at Princeton Plasma Physics Lab and then spent his retirement taking meticulous care of his yard. His flowers were beautiful every spring and his holly trees were the best looking ones in Highland Park. He could be seen on a very high ladder trimming them every year. Carl also enjoyed hunting with his dad, brother and nephew and has several deer heads on the wall as well as a mounted turkey. Carl loved going out to eat every night with his sister, Grace, and they regulars at IHop, Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse and Cracker Barrel.
Carl accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was 16 years old in a bus which Calvary Baptist Church provided for children to attend Sunday School and church. He was a long time member of Oxford Valley Chapel and his favorite Bible verses were John 14:1-6. Carl loved Jesus and showed it in the way he lived his life. He was always available to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. He was a kind, reliable, generous and humble man.
Carl will be sadly missed by sister, Grace Lindemuth. He is survived by his nephew Paul Lindemuth (Jeannette) of Sugar Land, TX and his niece, Susan Brosius (Eric) of Levittown, PA.
Burial with military honors will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the S.P.C.A.
