Born in New York, NY, Carol is the daughter of the late Concetta (Caiazzo) and John Joseph Meyer.
She graduated from Holy Family College and spent many years as a writer for the Bristol Pilot and as a freelance writer for many magazines. She had also worked for over 20 years for Barnes and Noble and many of her customers became her friends.
Carol was known for her generous heart and love of her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her sister, Constance Meyer and her aunt, Susan Caiazzo.
Services and interment will be private.
Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to the Associated Humane Societies.
