Catherine Jenkins

Catherine Jenkins "Cass" of Bensalem died on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Chandler Hall. She was 76.Born in Bristol, Mrs. Jenkins has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and has resided in Bensalem for the past 13 years.Mrs. Jenkins was employed with Northtec in Bristol Township for 17 years before retiring in 2005 and prior to that had worked for Cigna, also in Bristol, for 17 years.She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her girlfriends and her dog, Sierra.Mrs. Jenkins was the wife of the late Charles I. Jenkins Sr., mother of the late Charles I. Jr., Christopher and Cathleen Jenkins and grandmother of the late Harry Heffner III.She is survived by her loving daughter, Marlene Conaway and her husband, Scott, and grandson Zachary Conaway.She will also be missed by many good friends including Kathy Huber, who was like a daughter to her.Catherine was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Brady and sister, Margaret Gratten.Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940.
