Charles D. Duke of Bensalem died on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Chandler Hall. He was 87. Born in New York City, NY, Mr. Duke has been a resident of Bensalem for the past 59 years. He worked for Soabar in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia for over 30 years until retiring in 1989. Upon retiring, Charles was a dedicated employee and friend to all at Kenrich Mechanical for over 10 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Duke was the beloved husband of Jeanette W. (Winn) Duke for 60 years. He was the loving father of Charlene Walton (Rodger) of Bensalem, Jeannine Orlando (Ken) of Chalfont, Barbara Duke (John) of Langhorne and Charles A. Duke (Fred) of France. He was a devoted Poppy to Christopher, Tony, Kenny, Danielle, Keith, Kyle and Matt and Great Poppy to C.J. Services and interment are private.
