

Charles W. Kerr, of Fallsington, was called home on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the age of 73. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Kerr has been a Bucks County resident since 1963. He served as personal Cockson to Admiral Halsey and also as a Frogman in the U.S. Navy from 1955 until 1957. He was a graduate of Boston College. Mr. Kerr was a self employed machinist, engineer and inventor. He was the owner/operator of CW Kerr, Inc., Maui Mega Products and Heptner Manufacturing Co. He loved to golf, enjoyed casinos and betting, and was an all around sports fan. He will be remembered as a true family man. Mr. Kerr was the loving husband of Barbara A. Heptner for 25 years. He was the loving father of Marybeth Anglescy (Tom), Kathleen Devine (Dan Titler), Debra Kerr and April Croyle (Brad) He was a devoted grandfather of Heather Devine, Amanda and Sara Titler and the great grandfather of Ta'Kaylah, Tah'Nia, Addriyanna, Leighton and Hayden. He was preceded indeath by his parents, Walter and Margaret (Hause) Kerr, two sons, Charles W., Jr. and Michael Kerr and their mother Helen (Caubre), his brother, Walter W. Kerr and three great grandchildren, Kari, Emma and Nathan. Family and friends are invited to join the celebration of his life on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
