Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Clayton Miller and Geraldine Miller.
Charles was the beloved husband of 47 years to Colleen Miller, the love of his life. He was a devoted father to Kyle Miller and Katie (Miller) Disbrow, and a cherished father-in-law to Richard Disbrow. He was also a loving father-in-law to Maura Miller, wife of Kyle.
Known affectionately as “Popop,” Charles took immense pride in his grandchildren: Makayla Miller, Glen Miller, Caleb Disbrow, Chloe Disbrow, Olenna Miller, and Nolan Miller. They brought him tremendous joy and were among his greatest blessings.
Charles was an exceptionally talented and intelligent man. A retired mechanic from Amtrak, he possessed a remarkable ability to fix and restore older hot rods, bringing them back to life with skill and passion. He was well known throughout his community for his love of cars and his craftsmanship.
Beyond his mechanical talents, Charles enjoyed playing pool, building and creating with his hands, challenging others to games of chess, and spending time playing cards with family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved sharing stories and laughter with those around him.
Charles had a generous spirit and a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone and lived life with enthusiasm, kindness, and compassion. He especially loved camping with his beloved wife in the warm sunshine of Florida. Together, they made their home in Levittown, Pennsylvania, where they built a lifetime of cherished memories.
Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of hard work, laughter, generosity, and devotion to family will live on forever.
Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Memorial service and open floor beginning at 8:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
