Christopher John Drayton

It is with a truly "Broken Heart", we grieve the loss of our son, Christopher John Drayton, "Chris". His "Heart of Gold" stopped beating on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

Born in Bristol, the son of Catherine (Skoloda) and William Drayton, Chris was a lifelong resident of Falls Township. He graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1995 and became a HVAC mechanic.

Chris's work was his life. He was a loyal employee at Ray Litwin from 2013 until 2023 and was currently employed with, JR Michalski.

His pets were his children and the loves of his life. He was a compassionate animal lover.

Chris enjoyed fishing and remote control cars and boats. He was a tinkerer and could fix almost anything, Chris was always ready to help anyone in need. He was also a huge Eagles fan.

Chris is survived by his parents, Cathy and Bill; his brothers, Bill and Craig; his uncle, Steve Skoloda (Marlene); his godmother, Mary Sellek; several cousins; and his many lifelong friends, especially Eddie, RJ and Kevin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Louise Drayton and Emro and Emily Skoloda; and his best friend, Billy Bresnen.

A viewing for Christopher will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. Relatives and friends are also invited to his viewing, Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:20 AM at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where the mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM. The Rite of Committal will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.

In Chris's memory, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Frances Cabrini Church at the above address or to the pet rescue of donor's choice.
