

Christopher A. Ducko, of Levittown, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 49. Born in Bristol, Christopher has been a life long resident of Levittown. He was a 1979 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. Chris was formerly employed with American Reliance/Highlands Insurance Company in Lawrenceville, NJ and most recently worked as the Facilities Manager at the Princeton Public Library where he will be dearly missed but never forgotten. He enjoyed fishing, boating, vacationing at the Outer Banks, being a multi-sport coach and watching his sons play hockey. He was the son of the late Edward and Helen (Capik) Ducko. Chris was the beloved husband of Lucy A. (Giardine) Ducko for 25 years. He was the proud and loving father of Andrew and his wife Meghan, Evan and Jordan. He was the brother of Kathleen Madeley and her husband Al, Denise Goyden and her husband Tony, Sue Williams and her husband Mike and Edward Ducko and his wife Jennifer. He will also be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Rose Giardine, his in-laws and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and his beloved dog, Snoopy. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends are also invited to attend his memorial service on Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 80 W. Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Chris Ducko Memorial Fund for "My 3 Sons" c/o 1st Federal of Bucks County, 16 Highland Parkway, Levittown, PA 19056.
