

Clarence "Skeets" J. Myers, III died at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. He was 86. Born and raised in Philadelphia, the son of the late Elizabeth (Hirst) and Clarence J. Myers, Jr., he was a former resident of Upper Southampton for 52 years. He had resided in Bensalem for the past 3 1/2 years and was a member of Saint Ephrem Parish. Until his retirement in 1985, Mr. Myers was an US Postal Inspector in both Philadelphia and Harrisburg for 41 years. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a member of N.A.R.P.I. and the Alumni Association of Saint Thomas More High School. Mr. Myers enjoyed fishing and a great game of golf. Beloved husband of nearly 64 years to Mary B. (Coyle), he was the loving father of Mary B. Vicinsky (John) of Hummelstown, PA; Kenneth G. Myers (Paulette) of Clifton, VA; Cheryl A. Bocklet (Joseph) of Warminster and Lisa Marie Myers of Bensalem. Mr. Myers will also be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his brother, Stanley Myers of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Clarence and his sister, Elizabeth Walsh. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Saint Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm.
