Clark was born on Hahn Air Base in Germany on September 17, 1971, and returned to the USA in 1972, where his family settled in Lower Makefield Township. He graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1989, during which he was a Police Explorer and began his Volunteer Firefighting career. After High School, he served 4 years in the US Coast Guard from 1989 to 1993 and exited as a Quartermaster, 3rd Class.
He became a father in 1996 with the birth of his son, CJ, and then again in 2000 with his daughter, Madison. Clark attended Rider University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. In the early 2000’s Clark joined the Knights of Columbus, became a Fourth Degree Knight in 2008, and also joined the Falls Township Republican Party. After reconnecting in 2010 with a close friend from his early firehouse days, Meg Weston, they went on to get married in October of 2015. Clark and Meg were the owners of BoxDrop Discount Mattress Store, which they ran with their son, Deej, from 2018 to 2023.
Clark was a very active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, the Knights of Columbus, where he proudly held the title of Grand Knight, and was a lifetime member of the Falls Township Firehouse- Station 30.
He is predeceased by his brother, Timothy Martin; his aunt, Sally Jackson and her husband Jim Jackson; his uncle Michael Neagley; and his grandparents, Derr and Frances L. Neagley, and Arnold and Elizabeth Martin. He is survived by his loving wife, Meg Martin; his children, CJ Martin, Madison Martin, Kaity Janus (fiance, Nick Panariello), and Deej Janus; his parents, Clark and Dee Ann Martin; his mother-in-law Geri Weston; his aunt, Frances Neagley; his nephews Mason and Noah Martin; his brother in arms, Louie Esparza (Darcy); CJ and Madison’s mother, Patricia Bunn; as well as countless family members and close friends.
Viewings will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 6-8 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 and on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9-11 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 166 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church
Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 2 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Clark's memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org) in honor of his brother, Tim or the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation (njvvmf.org).
