Clifford E. McGregor

Clifford E. McGregor Clifford "Buddy" E. McGregor passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 68. Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of Harry E. McGregor and the late Jean Z. (Carver) McGregor, Buddy has been a long time Levittown resident. He was a 1963 graduate of Pennsbury High School. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Pamela, on June 26, 1965 at Fairless Hills United Methodist Church. Even after 48 years, he was very much in love with his wife, Pam. Buddy was a member of I.U.O.E. Local 542 and worked as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years. He most recenty was employed with James J. Anderson Construction Company. He loved NASCAR racing, stamp collecting and collecting dragon figurines. Most of all, he took pride in his family. He also enjoyed spending time with the family on vacations and at family gatherings. Beloved husband of 48 years to Pamela J. (Craven), Buddy was the loving father of Robert E. McGregor, Sherri J. Wells, Richard L. McGregor (Dawn Monaghan), Shannon D. Sbarro (Matthew) and Shelly M. McGregor (Michael Fenimore). He was the devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Matthew, Patrick, Ryan, Richard, Amanda, Jacquelynn, Megan, Hunter, Zachary and Ava and the proud great grandfather of Jordan, Damian, Dominic, Kylee and Declan. Mr. McGregor is also survived by his father, Harry E. McGregor; sisters, JoAnn Conrad and Gloria Boyer (Charlie); sister-in-law, Kathy McGregor and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Jean (Carver); 2 great grandchildren, Peyton and Chase; a brother, Gene McGregor; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Conrad. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be preferred by the family.
