

Clifton S. Biehl, Sr. Clifton S. Biehl, Sr. of Levittown died on Monday, July 13, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 91. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Biehl was an original Levittown homeowner and also lived in Tucson, Arizona for 10 years before moving back to Levittown. Mr. Biehl worked as a salesman for Prudential Insurance Company for many years and was often recognized for being a top salesman. He played semi-pro football in his youth and was a life long devoted Phillies fan. Mr. Biehl is a Navy veteran who served his county proudly during World War II. His greatest joy was raising his children and grandchildren and will be remembered as an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Biehl was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late of Theresa M. (Ryan). He was the loving father of Loretta Allen, Joseph Biehl, Patricia DeBlasio (Robert) and Cynthia Evans and father-in-law of Claire Biehl. He was the devoted grandfather of Robert Allen III (Kristina), Lara Allen and Clifton Allen (Molly), Molly Biehl, Clifton Biehl III (Amanda), Brooke Hardison (Aadam), Blaire Hardison-Belle (Jonathan), Philip Bray (Rochelle), Joseph Biehl (Dani) and Sarah Biehl (Chris), Robert DeBlasio Jr. (Amanda) and Lauren DeBlasio (Steve), Nicholas Evans, Theresa Evans and Liam Evans and the great grandfather of Chase and Bennett DeBlasio, Lylajames Bray and Brendan and Ruari Allen. Clifton was the brother-in-law of Catherine Griffin, Gene Kennedy and Nancy Ryan and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa and son Clifton Jr.; daughter-in-law Sharon; brothers and sisters, John, Wilbur, Kenneth, Frank and Joseph Biehl, Alice Dreher, Anna Vitelli and Naomi Gould; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and William Ryan, Michael Griffin, Vaughn and Margaret Burns and Loretta Kennedy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Eleanor's Garden Hospice for their compassionate care. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 9 until 10 a.m. at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown, Parkway, Levittown, PA, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be made in Mr. Biehl's name to Ryan Strong, PO Box 1604, Bensalem, PA 19020.
