

Craig Walter Cavanagh died on June 15, 2017 at his home in Langhorne. He was 68.Born in Pittsburgh, Craig has been a resident of Lower Bucks County for the past 47 years.He worked as a pipefitter at U. S. Steel from 1970 until 1985 and then worked at Dow Chemical for nearly 20 years until retiring in 2004.Craig was a proud U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam serving from 1967 until 1970.He liked to work and enjoyed helping others whenever he could.Craig is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Linda Cavanagh; his son, Richard Cavanagh (Kathy Judge) of Idaho; and his granddaughter, Laura Burg of Delaware.Son of the late Clarence and Irene Cavanagh, Craig is survived by three brothers, Ronald Cavanagh (Laura) of Sewickley, PA, Keith Cavanagh (Audrey) of Yardley, PA and Richard Cavanagh (Vali) of Pittsburgh, PA, 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 4 great nieces and 3 great nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
