Dale Ann Nohr, 68, of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, after a short illness. Dale was born on June 11th, 1955, in Chicago, IL to the late James and late Isabelle Mitchell. She was the oldest of five brothers and sisters.
She graduated from James B. Conant High School in Hoffman Estates, IL. Shortly, after graduation she met and fell in love with the love of her life, her husband William. They had been married for 51 years.
Dale earned her LPN degree from the Buck County Technical School while working with the Pennsbury band front as the coordinator. She loved nursing and worked for 30 + years at Attleboro Nursing Home until her retirement in 2018. She also loved working with the band and continued to do so even after finishing her degree. Over the years she participated in many of her children's activities such as being the commission of softball for the Fairless Hills Athletic Association. She also had many friends but her closest was Alieen Harshaw, who recently passed away. They met through the band and many afternoons they would be holding court at Dales’s kitchen table chatting and drinking way too much coffee.
Dale was preceded in death by her beloved son Timothy, her father James, her mother Isabelle, and her brother Brian.
Those left to cherish Dale’s memory are her loving husband William, her daughter Theresa Taylor (Daniel), her son William Jr., her daughter Danielle Mineweaser (Robert), and her son Andrew. Also, her beloved grandchildren Christina Owen, Matthew Nohr, Connor Nohr, and Jacob Nohr.
A viewing is scheduled for 10 am, Monday, January 22, 2024, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by a Funeral service at 11:00 am, and an interment at Newtown Cemetery.
