Daniel Joseph Beam passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2024 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, at the age of 87. Born in Philadelphia, Daniel was a man of strong character, embodying qualities of loyalty, strength, and genuineness throughout his life.
Daniel graduated from St. Thomas More High School in 1955 and soon after began his career at Fidelity Bond and Mortgage Company, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 1997. It was at Fidelity where he met Theresa, who would become his wife of 52 years. His commitment to his country was evident through his service in the Marines from July 1959 to 1965, a period during which he took great pride.
Outside of his professional and military life, Daniel enjoyed golfing, passionately supported the Philadelphia Eagles, and cherished the times spent vacationing with friends. These activities reflected his simple, unpretentious approach to life, always finding joy in the company of friends and family.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Beam (née Garbay), his son Dan Beam Jr. and his wife Judy, and his grandchildren, Connor and Tyler, who will miss him dearly.
Daniel's life was a testament to the values of faithfulness and dedication, both to his family and to every endeavor he undertook. He will be remembered as a proud Marine, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal friend. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
