Though his time in our arms was brief, Daniel’s life was filled with nothing but love. That is the greatest comfort we hold onto — that the only thing he ever knew was love, warmth, and belonging. We take peace in knowing he is now in Heaven, held perfectly in God’s embrace.
Daniel was deeply dreamed of, longed for, and already so known. He had his mother’s soft strawberry blonde hair, his sister’s nose, and the most perfect little feet we will never forget. We are endlessly grateful for every moment we had with him — every kick, every heartbeat — and especially for the gift of hearing his heartbeat one last time as it faded before it rested eternally.
He is the beloved son of Maria and Daniel Matthew Boice Sr., and a deeply cherished little brother to Oliver, Katie Rae, and Abigail Mae. His big brother Oliver, who waited so long for him, is especially heartbroken and carries a love for his baby brother that will never fade.
Daniel is welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, as well as his brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles who went before him too soon. We find comfort imagining him surrounded by them — never alone, always loved.
As parents, our greatest goal and hope has always been to lead our children to Heaven. In Daniel, we are given the bittersweet gift of knowing that promise has already been fulfilled. What a powerful reminder and motivation it is for us to live a life that leads us back to him.
We will forever treasure the life we shared with Daniel — not defined by its length, but by its depth, its meaning, and its love. While we learn how to breathe and live in a world without him here beside us, we hold onto the hope that he is watching over us. We ask our sweet Baby Daniel, our “Danny Boy,” to pray for us until we meet again.
We welcome both your condolences and your congratulations — because while our hearts are broken in his absence, we also celebrate his beautiful entrance into Heaven. We never want to forget the joy we had as his mother carried him into the world, and the sorrow of his father carrying him out. That sorrow is a reflection of just how deeply he is loved.
Family and friends are invited to join us in both sorrow and celebration of Daniel’s life:
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11:00 am, at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Until we meet again, our sweet Daniel.
