Dawn Marie Zapolski

Born in Trenton, New Jersey to Kay and Dominic Chianese. Dawn graduated from Nottingham High School. She went to Mercer County Community College for Computer Software. She then obtained her CDA to teach preschool for many years. She then went on to become a Special Education Assistant Teacher. To the world she may just have been a person but to her kids she was a hero.

She absolutely loved going to the shore, but hated the sand. She loved spending time with her family and friends. One of her passions was gardening, growing strawberries, and such beautiful flowers and perfecting hardscape’s. She loved going for motorcycle rides with her husband, sometimes with no certain destination. Just them and the wind. Dawn loved her chocolate, especially peanut M&M’s. She made beautiful crafts for her friends and grandchildren too! Dawn loved seeing puppy Louie V when he would come visit her and love on her.

Dawn was predeceased in death by her father

Dominic Chianese. She is survived by her loving mother Kay Chianese, her devoted husband Ronald Zapolski Jr. her brother Dean Chianese(Sherri); her children Dane, Dena and Skyler; her grandchildren Payton and Braxton and her nieces Carlene and Allison.

Dawn loved spending time with her best friends Trish and Tanya, although together they caused a bit of trouble but they were with her until the very end.

She was one of a kind, she would do anything for just about anyone. It’s what made her special.
