Dianne Dorothy Weller (Rush), of Jamison, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 28,2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 70 years old.
Born on June 4, 1955, to the late George and Nancy Rush, Dianne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, teacher, and friend. She shared more than 52 years of love, friendship, and partnership with her beloved husband, Robert William Weller Jr., building a life centered on family, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Throughout her life, she touched countless lives with her kindness, patience, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
Dianne dedicated more than 35 years to education as a first-grade teacher, helping to shape the lives of countless young students through her encouragement, care, and commitment to learning. Her gentle nature and nurturing spirit extended far beyond the classroom and were felt by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures—spending time with family, attending baseball games, spending time on the boat, and fishing at Black Lake, where many cherished memories were made with family and friends. She enjoyed searching for seashells along the shore, taking walks with her beloved dogs, working on puzzles, reading, and listening to Rod Stewart. Dianne genuinely loved people and never passed up an opportunity to reconnect with someone she knew. Whether it was a chance encounter in town or an unexpected meeting while running errands, she always took the time to stop, catch up, and hear what was happening in their lives. Her warmth, friendliness, and sincere interest in others made everyone feel welcome and valued.
Above all else, Dianne cherished time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert William Weller Jr.; her son, Robert "Bobby" Weller III and his wife, Stephanie; her daughter, Amy Parshall and her husband, Andy; her cherished grandsons, Miles Parshall and Mason Parshall, who brought immense joy to her life; her brother, Brian Allen Rush; her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; along with many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Pamela Josephine Dunn.
Dianne's love, strength, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in the countless memories she created and the love she shared so freely.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dianne's life at a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cock 'n Bull Restaurant, Peddler's Village, Lahaska, Pennsylvania.
